Sherwood Sharks
Nothing is more exciting on a summer night than a Sherwood swim meet. Sherwood Sharks are rich in tradition, sportsmanship, winning, and fun!
Sherwood is a member of the Greater Forsyth Swim League (GSFL), whose mission is to encourage swimmers of all abilities and encourage good sportsmanship.
The team is comprised of boys and girls, ranging in age from 4 and under to 18 years of age. Swimmers receive age appropriate instruction in all four strokes.
Practice typically begins in mid-May. The season runs through mid-July, consisting of six dual meets and concluding with league championships. Sherwood also competes in the Winston-Salem City Meet.
