Welcome to Sherwood Sharks

Sherwood Pool is a family-oriented, private pool located in the heart of historic Ardmore. Our swim team, the Sherwood Sharks, has won Greater Forsyth Swim League (GFSL) and city championship titles consistently over the past decade. Our membership, drawing from neighborhoods throughout Winston-Salem, is a diverse mix of newcomers to our city as well as the children and grandchildren of charter members.

Sherwood Pool is a private membership association and is limited to 250 families. Families purchase memberships in the Sherwood Pool and pay an annual membership fee. Although a waiting list is maintained, several vacancies are usually filled each year. All applicants must have a referral from at least one current association member. By maintaining a limited membership base, our pool remains a tightly knit swim community.
